UJV Rez is a technical-engineering firm focused on energy industry and nuclear medicine. Our project was centred around its branch located in an office building in Prague’s Palmovka District. It involved a comprehensive modification of the existing shared areas, such as conference rooms, copy centres, kitchens, and hallway spaces.
The main colour scheme consists of off-white and blue tones, which is also the company’s main colour. These accents are complemented by furniture and wall panels in a natural oak decor. The conference rooms open up into the space through newly built glass walls, visually enlarging the narrow and long hallway spaces. Meeting rooms and hallways are connected by a two-tone carpet with a geometric pattern. The hallways are further enlivened by graphic design on the walls. The kitchens are designed in a minimalist style dominated by the blue colour and slogans on the walls. On each floor, we created a copy centre with a printer and cabinets for office supplies. The design of these centres is again based on blue, wood decor, and graphic inscriptions.
