The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a historic building on the Old Town Square and its windows open directly onto the busy life of Prague’s city centre. The restaurant’s aim, which focuses mainly on Czech specialties and beer, is to attract both tourists and local guests.
When designing the interior, we drew inspiration from the historical heritage of the building, especially its beautiful vaults. Although we tried to maintain the character of a traditional Czech restaurant, the overall appearance is modern. As for materials, we mainly worked with wood and other natural materials. Old wooden beer barrels and subdued colours on the furniture, floors, or walls are complemented by distinct decorations and traditional patterns. The result is a modern and airy restaurant in a popular tourist zone where even the Czechs like to go for an honest beer.
