The main office of the well-known company McDonald’s is located in the Avenir Business Park administrative building in Prague’s Smichov District. The project involved a complete fit-out of the old offices covering 1100 square meters. Our idea was to differentiate the new offices from traditional McDonald’s locations, yet still reflect the main elements of their corporate identity in the interior.
In this project, we chose an unconventional approach to corporate colours. Shades of yellow and red appear, for example, in the lower part of the reception or on the base of conference tables, but the colours act as supporting elements, rather than standing out. We preserved the exposed concrete ceilings and spray-painted them to the desired shade. In addition to the complete fit-out of the offices, we also oversaw an open tender for the Czech branch’s new visual style, especially slogans and mottos.
This project was created at the Prochazka & Partners studio under the supervision of chief architect Ing. arch. Eliska Vrbkova.
