The intention behind this kid’s room was to create a practical yet cozy bedroom with a play area for a little boy who loves airplanes, cars, and bears. The bedroom is connected to the play area through a large entry portal. The entire wall of the bedroom was designed as combination of a wardrobe, bed and a bunker on the second floor, which can be accessed by a ladder. In the play area, we placed a versatile children’s desk with different baskets for sorting toys. Everything is designed in soft natural oak colours combined with shades of mustard yellow and light blue. Design elements in the room include, for example, suspended toy airplanes, large Vitra bear or a swing.
